Old McDonald had a farm....

Actually, my sister has a farm one, a small one, but one nonetheless, filled with pigs, ducks, geese, and chickens. At the same time I had made my niece's birthday cake, a hen had hatched several chicks a few weeks before. When the idea in hand and many supplies left over, I created a simple yet cute farm scene. With a mother hen and her chicks sitting on an open field of grass, who can't simply fall in love?

Materials: Marshmallow fondant, food coloring, white cake, buttercream frosting
